Angel-sticks was a man, but a short man, and he found that his co-workers at the market had a tendency to hold this against him. He was consistently asking them to reach objects for him that were relatively elevated. Angel-sticks also had a tendency to say "relatively elevated" since it amused him, but not the "Tawlies". The Tawlies were those who reached for him, initially out of the kindness of their hearts but, as of recent, it had become a grudging task for them. So he undertook a journey. He would never have to ask for them to reach again. Angel-sticks travelled acrost his town, to the corn fields and pastures up south and the industrial sector down north. He was determined to solve this problem of his, but not determined enough to travel beyond town limits. He was then doubly lucky that the old abandoned library was on the edge of town, for beyond that edge was a tall cliff. He searched and searched through the books until he found a section on Greek Mythology. This gave him an idea. He should read those books. And when he read them, he had another idea... Though it's true Icarus' wings melted when he got too close to the sun, that problem could've been easily avoided. So, when customers saw a new worker on the night shift at the market flying about on wooden wings and grabbing off of the top shelves with little difficulty, they'd ask the Tawlies who that man was. "Oh, him? That's our good old friend, Angel-sticks."

If you remember this story when we escape the void, remember that the moral is to learn from the mistakes of the idiots from the past.
