The Second Annual 2000 vs. 2001 Turkey Bowl
For the second straight year (hence "Second Annual") the graduating classes of 2000 and 2001 from the pecariously-perched Johnson City Senior High School put bragging rights and a white Turkey platter on the line in a football game held at Wildcat Stadium (or as Bill Spalik called it "The House That I Built"). In a soggy grudge match, the younger legs of the Class of 2001 helped stifle the long-range passing attack of the Class of 2000. The highlight of the day had to be the post-game fesitivities at the Green Owl diner where the waitress said we could get a ham and cheese ommelette, home fries and toast for $3.95. CHEAP!
