Harvard Scrapbook
Every year at the Harvard Ukrainian Summer Institute the classes are charged with the responsibilty of performing a skit demonstrating their recently-acquired knowledge of the Ukrainian language. This year, the Beginning class (pictured above) decided to stage a Ms. Universe pageant. Contestants were required to introduce themselves, describes their likes, and perform a unique talent. The highlights (and lowlights) of the presentation, poetry contest winners, and the post-presentation bash are captured here.
