Comments:
I dunno about you, but I never get tired of watching Jack Nicholson
movies. This one probably isn't a far stretch for him as he plays an older sucessful
business man who dates only younger women. He goes out to the Hamptons with his
most recent catch (Peet) for a romantic weekend, but unexpectly her mother (Keaton)
shows up. Jack ends up having a heart attack during foreplay and is forced to
stay at the house in the Hamptons for a few days. Of course Peet has things to
do in the City which leaves Keaton and Jack alone together and... well, you'll
see. Keanu puts forth his usual shitty performance as Jack's doctor who gets involved
in a crazy love triangle. Keanu is Neo from the Matrix and Ted from Bill and Ted's
and outside of that (maybe with the exception of "Speed") he can't act.
These roles that require him to act in more that one dimension are just too much,
but I won't get too carried away, he didn't ruin the movie. It could have used
to be about 30 min or so shorter, but other than that, it was a funny romantic
comedy. Keaton did herself well, and her and Jack together on the screen was great.
