FAQ - The National Young Leaders Conference
1.
Where are these people now?
-Communication between members of the National
Young Leaders Conference (NYLC) has died down.
*Andy "The CanMan"
Noia is still a Krack Staff Komrade here on this very Page, but he seldom contributes
any more.
*Jeff Pietka did a stint abroad, and is set to graduate from George
Washington University this year.
*Eleanor Parker attends University of Alabama,
and is still in love with Josh Oryhon.
*Jessie Pena attends Rice University
and was a member of the elusive TFW club.
*Deborah Patterson is always doing
work at University of Texas.
*Kristin Nava plays tennis for Bentley College.
*Dave
Mosqueda attends University of Texas.
*Nothing else is know about the rest
of Caucus B. It's rather sad.
2. You guys wrote a rap?
-Instead
of lobbying for Caucus B's amendments, "Jammin'" Josh Oryhon sat down
and wrote a rap describing the NYLC's best caucus. Most of the rhymes, however,
are stolen from the Bloodhound Gang.
3. You guys decorated
t-shirts and made signs?
-Allnighters were indeed pulled when Caucus B
made signs. They put them up all over the National 4H Club's campus. Less than
24 hours later, however, signs from other caucuses appeared, thus copying the
idea that Caucus B initially had. Ed Nightingale and Josh Oryhon were watching
a performance of the "Capital Steps" group when they came up with this
idea. The Caucus even made a huge 7 foot sign that they ate under during meals.
Some of the best sign ideas include:
*Just B
*Let It B"
4.
Did you ever have that reunion?
-No. The largest reunion-esque party ever
had was during February 2001. Deborah Patterson, Jessie Pena and Josh Oryhon all
got together in Houston, TX for Josh's Spring Break. A section
was created on this Page to commemorate this event.
