UAlbany Unplugged presents:
Spring
Fest
aka "Kevin is a Dick" Fest I
aka "Bruno
is a Time Nazi" Jubilee 2004
Spurned on by the wildly successful UAlbany Unplugged open mic nights, visionary promoter and Hockey Hair fan Matt "Bruno" Bruno (a spitting image of Ray Romano) took the formula to a larger scale by heading the efforts to have an outdoor show, showcasing student talent. Assisted by tons of loyal friends and compatriots, the Spring Fest took shape and Bruno saw that it was good. A saturday in April, the 17th to be specific, was selected and space on Empire Commons was procured. While most of the talent had home court advantage, groups from Westchester, Binghamton and other fun places agreed to play, bringing the total number of performers to ten (or thereabouts). Initial concerns about a lack of a stage and inclimate weather were both mysteriously solved and the results were nothing less than scintillating.
